The August edition of 'Endurance News', the magazine of the AERC (American Endurance Rides Conference) features a page long article about the Akhal-Teke entitled "Meet the Breeds- Akhal-Teke", by Cathy Leddy. The article was suggested by Tim Floyd, who also acted as an editor and the original article included interviews with ATAA Endurance riders, Jas Shearer-McMahon and Connie Rawski. As printed, those weren't included, but perhaps they will be in the online 'Extra' that the AERC puts out.
This year, 2 Board positions are open: Amrita Ibold's and Tish Saare's. Both ladies have done a fabulous job and we hope they will continue, BUT, if you think you might like to be part of a friendly, dynamic Board, and have been an ATAA member at least since March 31st of 2015, please let our Election Committee know.
Election Committee: Jas Shearer-McMahon [email protected] and Patricia Johnston [email protected]
Terms run for 3 years and we do most of our communication via email, with occasional Conference calls. For more info, please contact one of the Election Committee.
