Sweet Water Farm Akhal-Teke took 4 pure bred AT's to their local Farm parade in Friday Harbor, WA.
It is a charming small town parade  with goats, turkeys and chickens..and all kinds of tractors, all making their own sounds and squeaks.
But the horses stayed calm and collected, even down main street with lots of spectators.
One of our students handed out AT brochures to those who seemed interested.

Glimpses of the MN horse expo 2012 from riding disciplines to almost every breed. Grand display of everything horsey from art to vet supplies, clothing to dude ranches. A place where the people and the horses walk together in the streets.

We had our annual conference September 22-23 in Snohomish and Friday Harbor WA.
We had our board meeting Friday night, with member meet and greet,  Saturday morning the membership meeting with lunch, in the afternoon horse demonstrations at Cascade Gold Akhal-Tekes and a barefoot trimming demo with Jeny Rice. To end the day with the awards banquet and silent auction ending.
For those also going to Sweet Water Farm Akhal-Teke it was an early dash for the ferry Sunday morning.
After the ferry ride all the horses were visited, then an outdoor lunch with horse demos in the afternoon.
It was great to see everyone, meet new people, conductive meetings were held, and see the horses!
