We got contacted by Cowgirl Magazine a few months ago, and they ran an article about the Akhal-Teke breed.
We are excited that there is yet another publication interested in the breed!

We took 4 Tekes and a pony to the pre-fair jumping classes last Friday.
Sonja rode Kegas, Zoe Paelka, Jenny Penta and me Paktaly.
We did not know that in 4-H you are not allowed to jump in a hackemore, and that is what Sonja and Kegas are using, so they were not eligible for ribbons. They did have very good rounds and would have been in the ribbons...
Napoleon the pony and Marina did great, Marina's first show ever! They got 2 ribbons and the jumior high score overall!
Zoe and Paelka got placings, and we were tied in Gambler's choice! And had a jump off! 
Penta did great...his first show, and his entry got mixed up, instead of jumping the 2'4 class they put him in the 3'' class!
And he got a ribbon in that class!
Paktaly was great, and we got the high score senior overall!
