2020 and 2021 Official Dates and Locations for AHA/ATAA National Distance Championships Announced!11/19/2019 Our board of directors met at our 2019 Convention this last week and passed our motions for dates and locations for the 2020 and 2021 locations. For 2020 we will be going to La Pine, OR to the Lava Cast Forest Site with the dates of September 25-27th and for our 2021 location we will be going back to Oneida, TN to the Big South Fork location with the dates of September 10-12th. Attention all Akhal-Teke owners in N. America! The Akhal-Teke Association of America is currently working on a 2020 VNIIK Grading Tour for late spring. We will be bringing Nadezdha Abramova, Nadja Tarasova, and Artur Baboev for approximately 2 weeks. We are specifically wanting at least 8-10 horses per location. If there are several farms within a few hours of each other that can mutually come up with a location to bring all the horses together for inspection (fairgrounds? nearby horse facility?) , that would be ideal. If you are interested in having your horse(s) officially graded for the Russian Stud Book, please contact Betsy Wandler at [email protected] or on fb for information or questions.  |
